Muscat d’Alexandrie - Muscat a Petits Grains
Grapes: Muscat D'Alexandrie (1⁄3), Muscat Petit Grain (2⁄3). 40-50 year-old vines on schist around Calce.
Vinification: De-stemmed Muscat D'Alexandrie goes whole into a fibreglass tank for six weeks with the pressed juice of the Muscat Petit Grain. After six weeks, the drained juice goes into sandstone amphora, old barrels, and fibreglass tank in roughly equal parts until April 2023. The pressed juice is put into neutral barrel until April 2023. Blended in April and bottled in July 2023.
Fining: No Filtering: No Added SO2 : Yes Production: 250 cases ABV: 13%
