Appellation: Vin de France

Grapes: Gamay, planted in 1936 on schist in Saint-Saturnin-sur-Loire, a few miles to the south east of Angers.

Vinification: Hand picked mid September. Whole-bunch maceration for 14 days in fibreglass. Basket pressed over 10 hours then back into fibreglass. Transferred to sandstone amphora in December for nine months until bottling in August 2023.

Fining: No Filtering: No Added SO2: No Production: 50 cases ABV: 12.3%
