Malbec - Merlot

Appellation: Vin de France

Farming: Certified AB, Demeter, Biodyvin, & Vin Methode Nature (VMN)

Grapes: Malbec (50%) Merlot (50%). Both from 30 year old vines on Kimmeridgian clay-limestone on the plateau of the Causse de Quercy.

Vinification: Merlot is a direct press into concrete tanks. Whole bunch maceration for four days in stainless steel tanks for the Malbec, then pressed and blended with the Merlot. Aged in concrete tanks for three months until bottling in February 2024.  

Fining: No  Filtering: No  Added SO2: No  Production: 650 cases  ABV: 12.2%
